PLEASE NOTE A BUSINESS CHANGE AT CRE: As our rental business has grown over the last 40+ years, so too has our volume of reservation cancellations. Unfortunately, this hampers our ability to provide equipment for our customers as you need it, as we hold valuable equipment for days on end—advising other customers that we have no availability—only to have the reservation cancel at the 11th hour. Given that, on April 1, 2023, we’re going to begin to require prepayment of the estimated dollar total of rental reservations. While cancellations will certainly occur (things do happen, after all), any late cancellations (inside of 48 hours) will forfeit 50% of this prepayment, and any no-show situations will forfeit 100% of the prepayment. This change is intended to ensure we aim finite equipment resources at parties who have confirmed, certain need for equipment. When you call to reserve something, we want to say, “YES! We have that for you!” As always, I want CRE to improve, grow and evolve with the world around it. This change is in line with that mission.
